Village to Village

Joining a mission team and going to Africa is not a small step. There are many questions and because you are being taken out of your environment into a strange new world, you might feel unsafe or confused. So, what actually happens when you join a mission team?

(*Pssst when you are done reading, do not forget to check out our gallery with photo's of Africa and our previous missions & teams!)

What does Village to Village mean?
Spirit Ablaze Ministries have been established on Luke chapter 9 and 10 with Jesus calling His disciples together and then gave them power and authority to preach the gospel and to tell them that the Kingdom is at hand, to drive out all demons, to cure diseases and to heal the sick. He then sends them out, two by two to every town and village He was about to go.

It is essential for people desiring to join a ministry team to study these scriptures and to have a clear understanding of what they could expect during their visit.

Is it safe to go into Africa?
On arrival in Africa you will be welcomed with real African hospitality and warmth that can be guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. For more on your welcome I suggest you look at some of the testimonies from previous teams that are available on this website under “Testimonies.” I would also like to make it clear that going to visit these villages is extremely safe for any person. Spirit Ablaze Ministries wants to ensure you that no person will need to enter into any unstable region or location although you will face many unknown spiritual challenges. We thank Jesus for His blood that protects us against any scheme of the evil one. Amen!

What will happen on the mission trip? Will I receive any training for my task?
You will be booked into a local guesthouse where you will be staying for a few days, depending on the country we are visiting. During this time you will be introduced to the local people and their culture. You will also receive dynamic teaching and training on subjects like Manifesting the presence of God, the Ministry of Healing, the Working of Miracles, Soul Winning and Deliverance. You might also have the privilege of hearing testimonies of people who got healed of all kinds of deceases like HIV/Aids, cancers and many more.

What responsibilities will I have during the mission & what will I experience?
The team will also be responsible for arranging a crusade. With real African praise and worship with original African drums, it always promises to be an awesome experience. During these crusades we experience the manifested presence in some extraordinary ways. Sometimes Fire from heaven will be falling on people, separating the wheat from the chaff. Those involved in witchcraft and demon activity will be on the floor rolling in attempt to stop the fire from burning all over their bodies. Screaming and begging God to remove the consuming fire from them. For more on these demonic manifestations you could look at our website under “Deliverance.” During these crusades we see Gods mercy and power being demonstrated, the blind see, the cripples walk and every sickness is cured in Jesus Name! Please note that we at SAM do not focus on the deliverance ministry but believe that where the presence of God or Gods Anointing manifests you can expect some manifestations. Our focus is Jesus Christ and Him crucified and the gift of freedom He gave us.

Who will be working alongside me? What is the natives' attitude toward our work?
The following day after the crusade the team will be separating into pares of two’s, accompanied by a local translator. The teams will then be sent from village to village proclaiming the Kingdom of God! While staying among the villagers you will find that people will bring their sick and disabled to be healed by God. You will also find that whole families will come to except Jesus as Lord and to be baptized in Jesus Name. It’s amazing to see that as people turn to God they will bring their idols and witchcraft to be burnt. What a great responsibility, privilege an honour to represent Jesus among the people of the nations! This is more than attending a church service.

What else can I expect?
Although our aim is not to focus on tourism you will have the privilege of experiencing Africa and visiting various tourism attractions before returning home.

How long will we be visiting Africa?
A short term mission trip will run for seventeen days and as promised will be a life changing experience.
